Things That Have My Vote

How about a little light-hearted NON-election talk today? How about a few favorite items of mine that get my vote all day :) *Some affiliate links included, so I get like 2 cents when you click on stuff.

Bando planners. I have been an Erin Condren fan for about 4 years now... purchasing her planner year after year. I have nothing but awesome things to say about my EC planners, but I've been considering other options for the 2017 calendar year. Something a little smaller, a little more sleek perhaps. I've heard good things about these planners and since they are less than half the cost of my EC, I might just have to give it a go for next year.

Ulta Matte Primer. Okay, I'll be the first to admit that I don't know much about makeup. I've been wearing the same stuff in the same way for yearsssss. I'm slowly but surely branching out though and about a month ago I finally got myself some primer. If it weren't for blogland I probably wouldn't even know what primer was, but this one has been working great for me. It's inexpensive (you only need a tiny little bit, it goes a long way!) and I feel like it keeps the shine to a minimum.

Huggies Diapers. Up until T was about 2.5 months old I was team Pampers. And then they started leaking ALL.THE.TIME. We have officially switched over to Huggies Little Snugglers (he's in size 3, already!!) now though and haven't looked back. Isn't is weird how every momma has a different diaper preference?

Nike Air Max. I'm a sucker for gray or white tennis shoes. I always have been. And I'm pretty tied to Nike in general. These are just SO lightweight and feel amazing on your feet. I have a colorful pair of them but I'm hinting around for this pair for Christmas ;)

Planner Stickers. Okay, shameless plug- but if you didn't know it yet I run an Etsy shop with another friend/blogger of mine. We have been working super hard behind the scenes to get some goodies ready for Black Friday and I can't wait to release them to the world. Plus, holiday stickers are right around the corner which makes me way too excited ;)

What FUN things are getting your vote this week??

  1. Clicky clicky. I always like to click all the links when I know you will get something. Gotta help a girl out! I am starting off with pampers because everyone I know says they are best for newborns. We shall see what happens thereafter. I like the price of that planner a lot better than some others out there and it looks super cute!!! I would consider it! You cant go wrong with a good pair of Nikes either. I endorse your votes.

  2. Once T starts moving, you're going to love the huggies little movers. They have extra Velcro on the front so everything stays where it's supposed to!

  3. Yes, every mom is different with diapers, bc I didn't like huggies at all. They were too big in the leg holes so they leaked all the time. I am a pampers girl. Funny - she is in a size 3 too! How are they the same size???

  4. You are definitely right about diaper preferences and how different they are! We are team pampers because huggies started leaking for us lol.

  7. Really with the diaper switch?!? I'm so surprised!! We have been Team Pampers, too - so far so good though! Hads is in size two now and it kind of breaks my heart.. weren't they just wearing newborns?!

  9. I have stocked up on Pampers getting ready for Cameron's arrival. I've heard from the majority of people that they are best for newborn little boys with leaks. We have TONS of diapers stockpiled. Hopefully if we find something works better than Pampers for him, then we will be able to switch them out. It is crazy how all babies are different!

  10. You guys seriously have the cutest planner stickers ever! And a thousand times yes to primer! I had no idea what it was either until a few years ago and it's life changing!

  11. You might consider looking at May Designs for a planner. I just bought a few as gifts for friends and they are really cute and (I think) great cost too! Plus made in the USA :)

  13. I love huggies! I recently bought a huge box of Luvs and they leak MULTIPLE TIMES A WEEK in the middle of the night. 5am PJ and diaper changes...no bueno. Now I'm like kicking myself b/c I have all these crummy diapers...haha. Gonna have to bite the bullet and invest in some overnight diapers. So glad to read something that has nothing to do with politics- yay!

  14. It is funny how we all have diaper preferences. We are a Pampers family all the way and had the opposite problem with Huggies...leaks. Ugh. It must have something to do how their little bodies are made. And I love this post idea. Light and fun...because I'm so sick of all the political posts. Can't wait to see you soon!

  15. Have you tried Kroger's brand? I had some from a diaper cake and used them and LOVED them. They are super inexpensive and we had NO problems.

  16. I need some new sneakers, so I will have to check those out! I always get a super basic planner from WalMart, but I'm looking at different ones for 2017. The E.C. ones are so pricey, so my goal is to find something just as great but a little easier on the wallet! :)

  17. I finally strayed from my EC planner for 2017. They're so nice but I haven't found a layout that fits my needs quite right so I wasn't using it all the time. They're way too expensive to not use daily! I found a new planner at Hobby Lobby that I filled in the dates for which was fun because I got to personalize it! It was also half the price so that's a win for my budget! I'll be interested to see more of this planner if you do decide to switch!
