Currently

It's that time again- my favorite link-up each month! Linking up with Jenna and Anne today
for another edition of their "Currently" series.

Wishing: For warm weather and maybe a million dollars would be nice as well. That's not too much to ask, right? I'm ready for spring temperatures, open windows and flowers. I'll take the allergies in exchange for that- I don't even care, this girl is just tired of the cold!

Craving: I feel like my sweet tooth has kicked it up a notch lately. I'm sure the girl scout cookies that came home with me from work yesterday aren't helping anything. My favorite are the Samoas, but I love me some Tagalongs too! I refuse to admit how many boxes I ordered...

Going: On vacation soon! If you missed it, we're doing a trip to Savannah and Hilton Head for our last "hurrah!" pre-baby and Jared and I are counting down the days until we hit the road. We're looking forward to a relaxing week away from the world; I can't wait to rent our bikes and explore the area again- I know we're going to have a blast!

Wearing: Maternity work-pants, finally. I was getting by with my regular dress pants up until this week and I had to call it quits on them. They just got too uncomfortable by the end of the day. Luckily, that coworker who hooked me up with tons of hand-me-downs had 4 great pairs of pants that are comfy and look like new. Score!

Learning: To not be so hard on myself over things that don't really matter. This is something I feel like I've always struggled with. I'm a wannabe perfectionist and news flash- NO ONE is perfect. Certainly not me, not even close! And that's okay! If me and my family are happy and healthy and safe, what else can a person worry about?

  7. A local Girl Scout troop always has a stand at my local grocery store, and it's so hard to say no to their cute little faces! Have a great time on your trip!

  8. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think you're allowed to order an embarrassing amount of Girl Scout cookies when you're pregnant. Just saying. Trefoils for the win! That trip to Savannah sounds perfect. Will you pack me in your suitcase? :)

  9. Tagalongs!!!!! Erin knows what's up! Everyone is always all about Thin Mints, and I'm like NO! Tagalongs. Get with it, people. :)

  10. Mmm Tagalongs & Thin Mints & Samoas. Keebler has come up with some pretty good year round substitutes. But I did kill a whole sleeve of Thin Mints by myself yesterday, without even noticing, until my co-worker asked me where they had gone. Umm, my stomach?

  11. Oh, I am so bummed (and a little happy) that I missed out on ordering Girl Scout cookies this year! Well, actually thin mints to be exact :) I tend to stock up in the freezer and bring them out at random times throughout the year. Maybe I can find some girls selling them outside of Walmart or something. lol!

Can't wait to hear what you think of Savannah! If I had to pick only one place to eat at I would have to say Molly MacPhearson's Scottish Pub. The food is amazing! Other than that...just walk the squares, the river, etc. It is beautiful there :)

  15. We all need a reminder every now and then that no one is perfect - I think every body wants to be the best and when they fail they get so hard on themselves. It's okay to not expect so much all the time! Yay for a babymoon and yessss to Somoas!

  20. Totally with you on the million dollars (pounds for me) and warmer temps! I am so over the cold weather now and dry/cracked hands. I suffer with allergies but I just cannot stand layers any longer.
