Sitting Out

Today I thought I'd be on here recapping the annual Halloween bash we always attend, but sadly this year we ended up sitting it out. I've been a bit under the weather and knew it was just in my best interest not to party it up Saturday night. I guess our costumes will be put on a shelf until next year. Unless of course we decide to dress up and pass out candy this Saturday- the verdict is still out on that one.

So not a lot of weekend recapping from me today. No costume party, no Bengals game, what the heck did I do all weekend?? I saw some family, cheered on my fantasy football team and just enjoyed the free time with Jared. I'm determined to get back into a better routine this week and not let the second half of football season suck the life out of me. Meal planning, working out and a blogging schedule are a must!

Before I go- I wanted to my wish my awesome brother-in-law a very Happy Birthday!! He's one of the most fun-loving people I know and I'm thankful to have his as my family and friend. Jared and I love going on adventures with you and Kayla and I know we'll be having fun together for a lifetime :)

  5. Sometimes a relaxing weekend of not doing anything is exactly what you need to recuperate from a busy week and schedule, which I know that you have during football season! Even though you missed out on your costume party this year, it would still be so much fun to dress up to hand out candy!

  8. Boo to missing your costume party but sometimes you just have to not do anything. I will say, I know you had a bye week but man did the rams knock the socks off your state's other team. I was shocked!!

  11. It sucks having to pass up on something you were looking forward to but if you aren't feeling great you wouldn't have had as much fun any way! And at least we had a bye this weekend so hopefully you got lots of rest!

  15. I hope you're feeling better! I've been really sick, too. :( I just can't seem to shake whatever it is...and the timing, as you can imagine, isn't great. Best thing about a bye week? We're still undefeated!

  16. You gotta have those types of weekends every once in awhile. I hope that you're feeling better.

Oh, by the way, I survived another week so I'll be picking your Bengals for this week. :)
