Getting Ready

Hey all! I'm alive and mostly well, I promise. I honestly feel like I'm still recovering from all of last week/weekend. I hadn't logged a 60-hour work week in awhile so it took it's toll on me that's for sure. We have more concerts at the stadium again this weekend (Friday AND Saturday) and then 'concert season' is finally done- thank goodness. Just prepping me for football season I suppose. Speaking of football, I'm ready for it. After the concerts this weekend it's time for training camp! It's here you guys!

I'm ready for football and fall weather and I don't care who knows it. I'm ready for our fantasy football draft, hosting parties for away games and working my butt off during home games. Our first preseason game is in 23 little days and I'm about to burst with excitement, seriously. I know a lot of people don't get into preseason games - but I am not one of them. Like you're surprised. I love seeing our team back out on the field, and it's cool to see some of the rookies get a chance to shine a little, too. Plus- our new scoreboards in the stadium are freakin' SWEET.

I'm obsessed, truly. I may already have the menu planned and my shopping list for the first get-together at our house when the Bengals open the season in Oakland. It's in September, and I'm prepared. I also have a list of everything I want to buy from the ProShop- girl's gotta have her gear! Thank goodness for an employee discount. ;) I'm a sports girl through and through- I do love me some baseball and basketball, and I enjoy college football too- but the NFL just has my heart. So though the coming days and weeks may be busy, and the hours long, knowing that I'm a part of my favorite team? Always worth it. WHODEY!

Who's with me?! Bring on football!!!

  4. Seriously, is it Football Season yet? Even though it means that weekends are always chaotic with college ball on Saturday and the NFL on Sunday, it's still the most wonderful time of the year!

  5. I'm far more excited for this season that I have been in the past because I already have tickets to a preseason game, think I finally get to see a game at TCF in December, & I have a roommate that loves football.

  7. Yes, friend. YES! I can't believe the first preseason game is that soon!!! I love going to those games because you can get incredible seats for super cheap. You get to see the stars (for a quarter), then familiarize yourself with the other guys. Perfect for the true fans! I wish I had ANY Bengals fan friends around here. Fortunately, I've completely converted Wheat, who loves to root for underdogs and is embarrassed that his favorite team won't change their racist name (he calls the Redskins the 'Fighting RG3s' instead). WHO-DEY?!

  11. I am counting down to some fall weather & some Packer football. I got a little feel for some football with my trip to Lambeau this weekend to see Brett Favre (http://badbrewpack.blogspot.com/2015/07/musical-monday_20.html). Note: I'll take cold weather at Lambeau over 98* at Lambeau any day! Ha!

  19. Oh my goodness employee discount at the Pro Shop... I'd have one of everything! I'm psyched for football season too and am planning on coming to training camp one day. NOT ready for the fall weather yet though. I just feel like we've had such a cool, rainy summer that we didn't really HAVE a summer. :(

  21. Typically by this point in the baseball season the Royals are dismal and so I start getting super excited for football - but with how well they're doing this year football has kind of sneaked up on me - got my season tickets in the mail the other day and i'm pumped!

  22. Torino Intend someday Cerci
Trusted Sport-New reports, AC Milan winger Alessio Cerci could be returned to Torino in next season. Because, Il Toro is working on a plan to repatriate the player in the near future.
Cerci left Torino in the summer of last year to join Atletico Madrid. But the performance in the Vicente Calderon did not match expectations so must move to Milan in the second half of last season.
According to reports, Torino coach Giampiero Ventura wants to withdraw Cerci this summer. Ventura hopes Cerci could find their performance back together Granata.
The only problem that remains to be seen is the high salary Torino Cerci. 27-year-old player is now getting paid about 5 million euros per year.
Milan itself has just brought two new attackers namely Carlo Bacca and Luiz Adriano. With the arrival of both players can be sure Cerci has no future at the San Siro.
