Every day this week I've rushed home to check the mailbox and sadly, my CD of anniversary photos hasn't arrived yet so it's throwing off my whole blog schedule for the week. Doesn't the photographer know what an editorial calendar is?! I'm joking- I know it's only been a few business days but man, I'm getting impatient to see those pictures and actually wrap up our anniversary post. I mean, we're already one week into year 5, I'm so behind!!! ;) Since there are no photos to share you're getting a little bit of a brain dump on what else is going on with me this week.
Work is getting busy, busy BUSY- but I'm enjoying it. Football is year-round for me and we are elbows deep in getting ready for the 2015 season. Ticket proofs are coming in, the players are here almost every day and tonight I start tours for season ticket holders. It's exactly 100 days until our first regular season game- WHODEY!
Hip update! Monday I got new x-rays and the doctor said everything is healing up nicely. This weekend I should be good to ditch my crutches, although he recommended I use one crutch for another week or so since my leg is likely going to feel like a noodle until it's gets stronger. I've got my first physical therapy scheduled for next week which I'm excited about - I hope they don't hurt me too bad! I am SO thankful for great insurance. It's something I haven't appreciated as much as I should because we haven't needed it. But three sets of x-rays and an MRI within 2 months- whew, THANK YOU insurance.

New friendships make me so happy. It really is tough making friends as an adult and I'm sure many of you can relate. So when you're surprised with a new friend you just seem to click with right away? It really is awesome! I truly believe God puts people in your life at the exact moment you need them.
Old friendships reconnecting is awesome too. My college friend (and bridesmaid) Erin will be in town this whole weekend and I am so looking forward to quality time with her. She only lives a couple of hours away but we have probably only seen each other twice in the past four years!! We're working on fixing that.
|Man I wish I could remember what we were laughing about this day :)|
I know I've said it already- but I truly just feel like a new person after vacation. Ready for whatever life is going to bring, ready to take on a busier work schedule, ready to chase dreams. It's a good feeling and I hope it sticks around :) What's going on with you this week?!
