I am...

I am a mess work in progress, always. See above photo.

I keep less and less as the years go on; Be gone, clutter!

I wish I could travel each month to somewhere new. (Don't we all??)

I sing every word to every song I hear. Totally not annoying, I'm sure ;)

I dance daily. This is no exaggeration… Car-dance, Office-Boogy and Kitchen-Shimmy are specialties of mine.

I think my hip is starting to feel normal and strong again- hallelujah for physical therapy!

I really want a puppy.

I need to remind myself daily that I'm allergic to puppies.

I should spend more time writing my book. Why is it so hard to feel creative at the end of the day?

I can always count on Kristin to motivate me via Gchat.

I like lifting weights… a couple years ago I never thought I'd say such a thing.

I love mexican food more than I should. I know a lot of people say this, but seriously- I have a problem!

I make a pretty amazing tortilla soup.

I always stay up way too late for important sporting events. I'm a Pacers fan first, but I've gotten over their season and have been loving these finals. I'm rooting for Golden State tonight! Are you #TeamSteph or #TeamLebron??
Throwback to last's years playoffs- what a game this was!

*Can't remember where I originally saw this- but I've had it saved in the drafts for awhile as a prompt. Feel free to 'steal' and post as you please!*

  1. I wish I could travel monthly too. How amazing would that be?! Truthfully I just really want to make a trip back up to Cincy soon! Preferably when I can see a Bengals game AND a Reds game haha! And I'm right there with you on the dancing thing haha! I seriously office chair dance and car dance constantly!

  3. I seriously think being a travel agent would be a fun job because I'd have no problem visiting places to review them or whatnot!

  6. I just can't get into the NBA - college basketball? Absolutely, but no NBA so I'm not watching
I'm more a football - baseball girl (Go Chiefs! Go Royals!)

  7. I really like lifting weights too! But alas, I'm not a dancer!

    I enjoyed this post.

  8. There are lots of allergenic puppies out there, just waiting for you! ;)

  9. I just can't get over you being allergic to puppies! And wouldn't life be SO great if we could travel every single month?! I'll probably end up 'stealing' this idea within the next couple of weeks!

    PS LOVING the new design!

  10. Go Pacers! haha I just couldn't get into this season at all. I'm definitely rooting for the Warriors! Would be nice to see someone else besides LeBron win.

  11. I should have more dance parties, I don't know why I don't.

You should get a hypo allergenic puppy, puppies are awesome and everyone should have one!

  12. Ooh, might have to take this one for myself one of these days!
I can't imagine a life being allergic to dogs! You poor thing :( there are definitely hypo puppies you could get though!! And about the book... it is SUPER hard to motivate yourself when you're "not feeling it," and I know it's so easier said than done. But I have learned that inspiration follows action more often than the inverse is true. Know what I mean? There are a few very famous writers quoted to say similar things, but they're all escaping me right now—I'll do some digging and try to find one. But the point is, sometimes if you force yourself to sit and start the work, that's all it takes to light the spark of greatness/creativity/ideas. You can do this :)

  13. I could eat Mexican food every day and not get sick of it! So good! Aww so sad about being allergic to puppies! I think there are some breeds that are safe for allergies, maybe?

  14. I'm #teamsteph for obvious reasons, but I'm also not following basketball at all...

Dancing daily, traveling monthly, need to write more. Yes to all of those.

  16. I'm with you on singing every single song. I'm pretty sure Zach gets tired of my singing in the car. :)

  17. I am team "please someone anyone beat Lebron."
I AM ALSO TEAM BLACKHAWKS. Holler.

  18. I really love this idea, may have to steal it :)

  19. Woo hoo on your hip starting to feel normal! I totally wish I could travel all the time. Haha I sing all the words to all the songs too. One time a friend said to me "You're like a freaking jukebox...how do you just know every song??"

  20. Lifting weights and Mexican food are my jams too :) Have you tried being around a dog with hair instead of fur? They don't really shed and have way less dander than other dogs. Just a though, because the world is a sad place with no puppies!

  21. I'm starting to really enjoy lifting weights too! it's been a LONG process to get there but man, it's so much fun when you start seeing results! And I totally want a puppy..... maybe one day! :)

  22. When you said you really want a puppy I was going to comment "awwww, you should totally get one" and then I read the next line. :(

I'm not that into NBA but I'm pulling for the Cavs. On the other hand, I'm in love with Steph Curry's daughter.

  23. Team Steph all the way! People around here don't understand that I can be from Ohio and not root for the Cavaliers...You already know about our mutual obsession with Mexican food, so I'll just encourage yours, especially if you get tortilla soup out of it. Also, you could totally get a HAIRLESS dog! My aunt/cousin have one - it's a weird adjustment at first, but they're super sweet!

  24. You have to get a puppy – you won’t be sorry! I’m with you on the Mexican food, I think I have a problem too! And the traveling every month, yes!! That would be the perfect life!

  25. oh traveling monthly would be so much fun. Yes to Mexican food! When I first met my husband he thought the only thing I ate was bean and cheese burritos, there was this Mexican place down the street from me (LA staple, called Tito's Tacos), oh so good...and cheap when you're poor and can stuff your face for 2 for less than $10!

  26. I sing every word to songs too. When I'm by myself in the car I sing from the moment I get in until the moment I reach my destination! Makes the trip much more enjoyable! Plus no one can tell me I don't sound JUST LIKE Carrie Underwood! :)

  27. Poodles! I had a mini poodle growing up, and I never had an allergy problem with him. I have a boxer/lab mix now that sheds all.the.time. even though she's got really short hair, and my husband and I have somewhat of an allergy problem with her if we play around and get the hair and dander all stirred up. Now cats on the other hand...we'd both probably die if we had a cat no matter what kind it was.

  28. I am in a declutter mood myself. I'm getting rid of SO much stuff!! Love to organize over here!

  29. Love this idea! Might have to steal it!

  30. I want a puppy too! I can't wait until Gracie is old enough for us to get her one.

Dance parties are my fave. I move and groove all day long.

I kid you not, last night I fell asleep thinking of chips and salsa and quesadillas. I should really just move to Mexico.

I love this post and I might have to steal it.

  31. Mmmmm now I"m craving tortilla soup. This could be a problem haha

    ReplyDelete
  32. Yea, I may have to steal this from you. :)

I'm not much a NBA watcher but if I do, I pretty much cheer for any time against LeBron James. I'm sorry but the fact that everyone thinks he's just a God & that it's just about him & not the rest of the team, really irks me. Ugh.

  33. Yay for your hip feeling better! So glad the PT is working. I sing every word to every song even if the words are WRONG! Haha. My friends make fun of me. The song Royals by Lorde...instead of singing "you can call me Queen bee," I honestly thought it was "you can call me string bean" and sang it that way in public. Hahah oops.

  34. Love this - particularly the part about me! :) And cheering against LeBron!
