Friday Happies

It's Friday- and that means you get 5 things. Ready, GO:

Life is flying by right now, and I can't say that I'm mad about it. My job has (surprisingly) been really great the past few weeks. There are a lot of changes that have taken place and while it's made for some very busy days and lots of training, I'm liking where things are heading. A work week that goes by quickly and I'm not dreading every single day!? This is uncharted territory for me but I hope it keeps up.

Girls night!! Tonight Lacey and I are getting together for dinner, catching up and celebrating because that awesome girl just got a new job! She has been wanting a change for a long time so I'm stoked she's found something she is really excited about. I'm staying the night at her house because Saturday she and I are checking out a couple places to possibly host our class reunion. Yes, we're in charge of those... and this summer will mark 10 years since we graduated high school. WHERE has time gone?

Having some serious victories on a fitness level this past week. I've pushed myself on my runs, getting some of my best times yet; I've mixed it up with a little circuit training and it felt good to work out different muscles this week; and I finally saw a different (smaller) number on the scale. This #4weeksfit thing might be just what I needed to get past the plateau.

I found out I'm going to OFFICIALLY meet my long lost friend from Minnesota this year. That meet up is still months away but you bet we're already geeking out over it. Blogging is awesome.

I cannot believe I'm going to list this as number five, but I can't help it. We got a new vaccuum cleaner last weekend and it has basically changed my life. First off, I was disgusted by how much it picked up that our old vacuum was not. After I got over the initial shock I was THRILLED by how much it was picking up that the old one didn't. It's Bissell brand and the #1 seller on Amazon- now I know why!

Now that I officially sound like a nerd- I'm off to enjoy this Friday! Have a great weekend everyone :)

  5. My sister-in-law just that vacuum and was singing it's praises, too! And said the exact same thing, that she was kind of grossed out at what their old vacuum had been leaving. It really must be amazing! Do I want to know what stuff is still in our floors?....Hmmmm... haha

  18. Having a great vacuum cleaner is everything! My husband cleaned ours out real good and it is amazing how clogged it was before! I have been out of high school 14 years. Yikes!!!!

I am so glad to hear that your job is going well right now. I know how it is to dread going to work everyday. It is not the way you want to live! Luckily I don't dread mine either. I mean, I dont look forward to it...but who does? Haha! Have a great weekend!

  19. I have so much to say to this! First of all, I'm so happy that work is getting better for you! I think you've needed that type of change for a while and I'm pumped for you! Second, I'm also in charge of planning my high school reunion and I have no idea what to do. Our ten year is next summer, so I'm excited to get some ideas from you. ;) Way to go on the working out! You've inspired me to do some walking on the canal, despite the cold. Finally, we should do a blogger date at a Reds game this summer! Pretty please?! Guys can come, too!

  25. Woo hoo for work being better!! I completely understand when work isn't all that fun, definitely makes you dread going in. We have been looking for a vacuum to register for but I didn't want to register for a really expensive one. Would you recommend us registering for that on Amazon?!?! We have an Amazon registry lol so if you do then this would be PERFECT and we wouldn't feel bad about the price!!!!

  26. New vacuum cleaners are awesome! I got one for Christmas and I was so excited about it that I put it together at my parents' and vacuumed parts of their house. Being excited about something like a vacuum cleaner must mean we're really adults now huh?
