Celebrating

Starting last night, Jared and I kicked off some serious holiday fun. First up was my company Christmas party. Poor Jared got stuck in some terrible traffic on his way to the party and I felt really bad he wasted so much time, just for me, but I was so thankful to have him there. Luckily, there was a lot of delicious food, dangerously tasty cake-pops, awesome company gifts, live reindeer, a classic photo with Santa & Mrs. Clause and of course some photo-booth fun!!

Tonight Jared and I are going to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra for the third year in a row and we cannot wait for a date night out on the town! It's not too often we hit downtown together for something like this, so we've been looking forward to this night ever since we got tickets months ago. This year the show is brand new so we're extra excited to see what it will be like. Nothing short of amazing, I know that much.
TSO-Concert

And pre-TSO? We have reservations for dinner somewhere very nice to celebrate something very exciting. Another something we've had on the calendar for months. Details to come ;)

Then Saturday I'll be doing some baking with Kayla and the sweet women in her family. You guys should see the email chain we have going, discussing who's making what. Things like Red Velvet Gooey Butter Cookies, Magic 7 Layer Bars, Oreo Peppermint Crunch Cookies... oh my gosh! Sign me up for an all-day gym session after that day! ;) We're going to give away lots of them to friends and family but cmon- with names like that, you know I'll be sampling all of them.

And I couldn't let this post go by without wishing my amazing bloggy friend Kristin a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! I hope 30 is the best year yet... no scratch that, I KNOW 30 will be the best year yet. Enjoy every bit of today and this weekend- you deserve it friend!! Cheers to meeting face-to-face in 2015! :)

Have a wonderful weekend everyone; I sure plan on it! :)
