April Goals!

This is pretty embarrassing, coming from a girl who can't function one day without multiple checklists, but I haven't really been keeping track of monthly goals for the past few months. In my defense, I have been checking lots of things off my list(s) in general, but haven't been updating the ole blog with them. I find myself staying on track more when I share them on here, because I get to hear all about your goals, whether similar or different, and it's nice having that extra motivation.

Onward! April is my most favorite month ever (I'm sure I've mentioned that time or seven two.) and that means I really need to do great things in the next 29 days!

1. Finish some Easter/Spring decorations and crafts.
I mentioned this on my Spring Bucket List, but I'm definitely planning to amp up my decor for this time of year and hopefully have some fun ideas to share with you soon! Look at me, actually putting stuff on Pinterest to work!

2. Celebrate my 27th (!) birthday with friends and family.
Duh! My birthday is on Easter this year and I plan on seeing as many awesome people as I can that weekend. I told Jared I want a low-key birthday celebration with him and he's planning it all- can't wait to see what he has in store.
I do birthdays in style ;)

3. Lose another 5-7 pounds.
I'm getting closer and closer to my goal weight, but it's definitely getting tougher to lose the pounds, which I know is totally normal. I'm hoping that the warm weather will inspire me to get out more and mix up my workouts more, too. The gym can get super boring day after day, I'm ready to breathe in the fresh air and keep transforming my body!

4. Read my women's devotional every day.
I've got an awesome devotional book by Joyce Meyer that I got for Christmas and I definitely do read it, but I'm not consistent. It's called The Confident Woman and you can find it here.

5. Continue our decluttering and start preparing for a garage sale.
This is such a bigger ordeal than I ever imagined, but I'm really looking forward to Jared and I having our first ever garage sale at our place either at the end of this month, or early May. Any garage sale savvy people want to offer up some tips? I think the hardest part is picking prices for things. Please come buy our junk!! ;)

What's on your to-do list this month?

  3. Great stuff lady. It's okay not keeping track, you'll know what you're doing.

YAY! Happy BIRTHDAY MONTH TO UUUUUUUUUUUUUUS!!!!! :)

And I know you'll rock out the next 5-7 eeellbees. Sadly, those are the hardest for sure and are linked more heavily to diet, than exercise, booooooooooo! Try mixing in some HIIT at the gym or outside for some extra cardio burn :)! ROCK IT SISTAH!

  6. Ha, I just made my official time to declutter list yesterday. Now to actually accomplish said list... Although, you two have to declutter before your big move to Florida!! ;) Too funny.

  12. A garage sale should be pretty fun! My sister's birthday is Good Friday this year...and another sister was born on Easter Sunday 17 years ago---Easter's kind of a fun birthday holiday because it only happens to match up every once in a while, not every single year!

  13. Peter's birthday is on the 18th and he likes to Easter too so he's also excited about it all falling on the same weekend haha. I was just thinking the other day I haven't kept up with any monthly goal posts/goals... whoops! :)

  21. Girl garage sales are SO much work. We just donate all our old junk to Goodwill, without even waiting to get a receipt from them. I feel better just getting it OUT of my house, I don't care about anything else! Good luck with the weight loss this month. Can you send a little of your motivation back down to me? I seem to have lost mine, completely... gross.

  22. These are great goals and I'm sure you will accomplish them! I basically have a never-ending list of goals that I kind of roll over from month to month... but it's really more of a to-do list so maybe I should think about some monthly goals as well. Good luck with yours!

  24. Lots of change is required for the garage sale, also as many bags as you can find - people love that and will buy more, willingness to be flexible with pricing and friends to keep you company. Happy Bday Month!!!!!!!!!!

  26. Love your goals for April... maybe one of these months I will be motivated to post an entire list of goals for the month. My main goal for April definitely involves staying on track with the #1800MinuteChallenge... I have needed something to motivate me to get back in shape for a while now and I am hoping that this will do the trick! I even did a post about it because like you said in the beginning of your post I totally feel more accountable and like I really need to make sure that I accomplish things when I post them on the blog for all to see.

  27. I've got a lot going on this month so my biggest "to-do" will be to make sure my wallet doesn't take too bad of a hit.
Other than that, definitely spring cleaning!

  28. Yup, your smile is just as cute when you were a wee lil one! :)

I love your April goals & I'm really thinking that I should do the same.

  29. I am loving your April goals - might need to do a similar post to help keep me accountable!! I LOVE the feeling of decluttering...donating, throwing out, selling - I LOVE IT!

  30. You really need to add a spa day (or at least a massage) to your list of goals! I firmly believe that you should NOT wait until your 30th birthday for that!! You'll believe me too.... as soon as you try it ;)

  31. I cannot wait until the weather is consistently warm so I can get out and run and walk and just be outside. I need some motivation for my workouts and I think definitely getting outside will help. Good luck with these goals, doll!
