Once a cheerleader...

...always a cheerleader. It's the truth! Sometimes I look back on my blog posts, texts, email, etc.... and look at my ridiculous overuse of !!!!!s and :)s I just get excited easily! And about everything!

Right now, I'm excited about meal planning on cute paper. Yes- we had Pizza Hut this Sunday, don't judge us... it's the only time we're eating out this entire month ;)

I'm excited about budgeting! Believe it or not, it can be fun! We've been listening to some of Dave Ramsey's podcasts and it truly has us more motivated than ever.

I'm excited about football season!! The first preseason NFL game is now just 2 months away!!!

I'm excited that Jared made me finally try Chinese food a couple weeks ago (first time ever!) and I actually liked it! What!?

I'm excited about 2-3 upcoming summer roadtrips we have planned!

I'm excited about the awkwardly, amazing friendships -this one in particular- that blogging has brought into my life :)

I'm excited about secret boards on Pinterest and an upcoming party to plan!

I'm excited to broadcast my love of cheerleading on the blog today.... and excited to show you perhaps the greatest action shot of all time. You're welcome ;)

But most of all? I'm excited about life!! There is too much good in life to let the crappy things get us down for long. What are you excited about this week??

  1. ahh Erin, I was a cheerleader too and share your same undying love of football!! I think being on the sidelines for all of those years gives you a perspective of the game that never leaves you! love, love, love. My sisters tell me that I am still such a cheerleader (not sure how to take that, lol!).

    Have a great weekend!

    xoxo, Karra

  5. Hey lovely!

You are so cute. I was a Cheerleader in High School as well Erin! It was some of the best times I had. I constantly do cheers to this day, in front of my fiance! He thinks that I am crazy and that I haven't lost my sparkle:) So you are right, once a cheerleader, always a cheerleader.

It's crazy how after 10 years you can still remember choreography!!!

Loved this. Thanks for allowing me to reminisce this morning!

    You were an adorable cheerleader!

  30. Sometimes having been a cheerleader explains it all. I am usually a fairly bubbly, smiley, happy person... and when people ask me why I am always like that besides telling them it feels unnatural to not smile, I usually follow it up with, plus I was a cheerleader for most of my life and they always go, "Ohhhhh... that explains a lot."

Love that you have those meal planner things... did you happen to get them from Pier 1? Cause I have seen some from there that I have been eyeing.

  31. that last picture is AMAZING!

  34. Oh my god I was a cheerleader, too! Whenever I tell people they're like "sooo is that why you're so spastic?" because I do the same thing. I get excited about anything and everything. And I also never shut up which apparently relates back to cheering for some people? haha!

    ReplyDelete
  35. You are too cute!!

  39. Do you go to Bengals games? I have only been to one and it was in NY against the Jets...in sub-zero temperatures. I don't think I have ever been that cold before and I have NO PLANS to ever be that cold again. Either way, I tell myself someday I'll make it to Cincinnati for a game.
