Bring on the Crazy

I normally try to be pretty optimistic on Mondays. It's the start of a new week, after all! But, I cannot lie.... today? I'm dragging just a little bit. My hair is in a greasy ponytail, my makeup is barely there and Whitney would be proud to know I'm actually wearing yoga pants to work today! Just keeping it real, friends :)

This morning was rough because I was having entirely too much fun this weekend. I got home late last night from a fun night out with my mom! Her mother's day gift was tickets to a dinner theater and we got to see The Sound of Music last night. It was amazing and I'm pretty sure I was singing the lyrics to every song in my sleep last night. I never get tired of that show... well, I never get tired of most musicals, really! Any other musical lovers out there? What's your favorite??

And Saturday night I was celebrating the bride-to-be with a fun night out of dinner, games and gifts! This girl is just so beautiful, inside and out :)

So this week? Bring on the wedding week craziness and excitement! Last-minute program printing and assembling, nail appointments, fasting so I fit in that bridesmaid dress.... and also getting ready to celebrate Jared and I's 2nd wedding anniversary next Tuesday!!

How was your weekend? :)

  1. OMG! I love Sound of Music, White Christmas, and of course.. Grease and Grease 2! If you can't stand someone singing all the songs while the movies are on, don't watch them with me. I'm not looking forward to this week for some reason. I have a big interview tomorrow so I have to turn on the charm and I'm just so TIRED!! I hope you and your Mister have a great anniversary and Cheers to many, many more! Have a great week! PS- I'm jealous, why aren't yoga pants accepted at interviews? Mine feel so comfy right now ;)

  20. I love The Sound of Music and all musicals. When I was little my mom used to buy soundtracks of musicals (on vinyl - that's how old I am!) as well as the sheet music and we'd play them constantly. When I was a senior in high school we did Grease which was so fun! I don't know if I can choose a favorite.

  24. i LOVE musicals. You my have guessed that? I co-stage managed it at our theater a couple years ago. My fave musical would be hard to choose. Maybe Les Mis or The Producers. I was in Beauty & the Beast so it will always be a favorite. Have you heard of Urinetown, the musical? It is HILARIOUS! I was in that in 2007. Most fun I've ever had in a show! The tragedy is that i have not yet seen Wicked! I have a feeling it will be my fave.
