Looking back over this past weekend I couldn't help but smile and think about how thankful I am for so many blessings in my life. I know, I know.... everyone says that cliche phrase all the time, but I mean it. Even with the craziness that our life has been in the past few weeks, there has been a lot of fun as well. You can never let yourself be too busy for fun, am I right!?
I'm thankful that every one in awhile Ohio decides to give us that perfect cool, crisp night. A night that's perfect for sitting around a fire and hanging out with family ----and a cute puppy-in-law.
I'm thankful for occasions to dress up with my man, and for hair that is FINALLY getting longer again!
I'm thankful for a favorite mug from a friend, a job that sometimes lets me do cool stuff and a job that allows me to take a much-needed vacation next month!
I'm thankful for the family I gained when I married Jared! There is nothing cuter than that scrunched up little face and a cupcake shirt!
I'm thankful my mom is always just a phone call away.
I'm thankful for the house Jared and I live, as much as we might complain about all that's wrong with it ;)
I'm thankful for the closet I have, overflowing with clothes.
I'm thankful for little things like planners, fun pens and post-it notes that make a day at the office just a little more colorful!
Think about all your blessings today! :)

You are so sweet! ! I love your thankful list! And your hair IS getting so long, woo woo :)
ReplyDeleteThat little face is adorableeee! What a great list!! :)
ReplyDeleteYay for bonfires and family time!
ReplyDeleteWe complain about our house too but I love it!
We truly do have so many things to be thankful for! I'm glad you posted this so that maybe some more of us will take time to be thankful, rather than complaining we don't have enough of this or that...Thanks Erin!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet :) I hear ya on the Mom thing. My husband thinks it's weird, but I talk to my mom at least 4 times a day, if not more. It's a girl thing :)
ReplyDeleteso true! There truly is a ton to be thankful for :) Love this post!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet post! :)
ReplyDelete=) My poor Mom, I must call her at least 3 times a day.
ReplyDeleteBut she doesn't mind it (or at least never admits it does!)
Love Moms like that.
love this! i definitely sometimes need to stop and give thanks for all the blessings that i do have and stop complaining about everything else. i'm thankful you posted a picture of that baby girl--oh my goodness SO cute!
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with counting your blessings!
ReplyDeleteI loved this post; it makes my heart happy. And you, you're absolutely adorable.
ReplyDeleteThis post made me smile! Thank you for this reminder to be thankful instead of complaining about what's wrong. You look so pretty all dressed up!

I'm with you girl...I'm always thinking of how blessed I am! It's so easy to complain about this and that, but at the end of the day, if we threw all of our complaints in a pile with everyone else's...we'd probably pick ours to keep. Things can always be much worse!
ReplyDeleteThat dog looks just like my roomies dog!!!
What a cutie pie! (the kid and the dog) And if you haven't seen it yet, I did do a Disney post today. ;)
ReplyDeleteI am such a dork who loves fun pens and papers. I love all office supplies-so much so that when I was younger I wanted to be a secretary. Who wants to grow up and be a secretary? Me the dork!
ReplyDeleteAdorable. In-law fams are the best :)
ReplyDeleteLady you need to gain another follower and fast! You've got a scary number right now... 666. ;)
I love this! I think taking a moment and remembering all of the good things in your life, the things that get looked over and the things that mean everything without realizing it are the best. I do a Thankful Thursday post almost every Thursday because I don't think we are truly thankful for all the wonderful things we have daily that we take for granted.
ReplyDeleteThere we go with Disney again... so jealous. I had the "first visit" gift card too from my sister in law. Please make sure you get a first visit button too :)
ReplyDeleteNothing in this world can brighten my day more than office supplies. Or the pen the makes your handwriting look like a font on Pinterest.
ReplyDeleteLove that picture of you! And anytime Disney is in your future it's easy to be thankful. Haha. Yay!!
ReplyDeleteOh I am sooo jealous of that weather! There is still a good foot and a half of snow here and I'm dreaming of some nicer weather. And there is just something extra special about a favorite mug that makes whatever is in it even better!
ReplyDeleteplanners, post it notes & pens is so me, I get way excited about stuff like that
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for YOU and the fact that I got to meet you, love you, and send you that mug!
