Your love never fails!

Since yesterday I only recapped the disastrous Sunday Jared and I had- I wanted to be sure to mention the amazing concert I got to attend at the last minute on Friday!
Us pre-concert; Yes- Jared has QUITE the beard right now.
A girl I work with had won tickets to see a Christian worship band called Jesus Culture and wasn't able to go so she was getting rid of them Friday morning. They are an AMAZING band and I'd never seen them live so I jumped at the chance to see them! Jared and I were so excited and had hoped to be able to bring our brother/sister-in-law because they'd been looking for tickets to this sold-out show for awhile.

Unfortunately, Kayla was already committed to babysitting and couldn't come but Caleb and our friend Joe were able to meet us there too. It was such a last minute chaotic scramble of schedules, but it worked out for the best even though we missed our K ;)

The venue was a smaller, intimate theater- I think it only holds about 3,000 people- so it made for an even more amazing show. They are so incredibly talented!

Have your ever heard of Jesus Culture? You can check them out here if you're interested! Maybe they are coming to a city near you :) I would definitely be okay if they decided they wanted to come lead worship at our church in Ohio permanently. Wishful thinking.

I'm telling you- live music just speaks to my soul! What's the best live music you've ever witnessed? What I'd give to be half as talented as some of these musicians.

PS- If you'd like to send up a prayer for my sweet Mamaw, she is having an epidural in her neck/spine today to hopefully fix some terrible pain she's been in. Pray that all goes well and that she won't have to follow it with surgery. Thanks :)

  2. I love live music too .. any genre. I haven't had the chance to see many bands in person but this is one that I would love to see.

Sorry about the crappy Sunday. But a crappy day with your guy is better than a good day without him. :)
