Guess who totally started off a post all "WOOOO FRIDAY!!! Heck yessss to a weekend! Longest week ever!

......and then was super, SUPER disappointed to realize that it is indeed, Thursday.
I'm still glad you're all here, and now I guess I'll have to come up with something else but I won't lie--
that sucked the fun right outta' this day/post!!
Since this blog IS about football & all, perhaps we could discuss last weekend and how my team blew it?! What?! You haven't heard me gripe about this enough yet??? Well, what you haven't heard is how during halftime we were all having a mega photoshoot, as we still planned on our team winning at that point.
You know... the "YAY we are in our Bengals gear, and we're #1" type of photos....
And then, "Lets do a wardrobe change for good luck!" photo.
Followed by the, "We are actually feeling kinda' worried and don't think the new clothes helped" photo...
Then the obligatory "couples photo" which Jared so kindly agreed too, even though it looks like he was already tearing up about the game ;)
And then, to avoid looking like this...
.....there were no more photos.
Oh my goodness ... I totally thought today was Friday too at first. Glad it's not just me! This week has just been dragging!

haha i love this! I too thought it was Friday today :( booo!!!! I love that you support a team that may or may not be good at times. I'm totally right there with ya, sista! Pretty sure my team hasn't seen a playoff game in like....10 years.

Ugh, I'm sorry about the game. I was rooting for the Bengals and my husband was so confused because I usually could care less about those two teams and he was cheering for Houston because of the former Badgers on the team. I told him my friend Erin is a huge fan so I want them to win for her, haha. He said "friend" or "blog friend"? He is used to me considering all of you my friends.

ReplyDeleteUmmm, totally not trying to make you feel ever worse but I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU CHANGED YOUR CLOTHES during the game!!! I'm so superstitious when it comes to games and that's a big no-no... unless we're losing and need to turn the luck around!
ReplyDeleteHaha I love the last one. Completely feel ya on this front. At least you got to the playoffs. Although I'm not sure which is worse - having the hope that you could go the whole way but losing in the first round...or not making it at all.
