Thursday Thought(s)


Sarah, I'm joining you today with a few thoughts.

1. Thanks for ALL the love on my baby blog's 1st birthday :) You all rock!!!!

2. I got up an hour early, drove myself into work to meet a friend and we ran! Like, moved our legs quickly to burn calories. In the morning. ARE YOU HEARING ME?!?!? I don't know who I am anymore?! ;)

3. Also- I'm now drinking a protein shake at my desk. Again- WHO.AM.I?!?

4. J and I have eaten healthy meals at home the past 4 days and going strong. WOOP!

5. Today is my beautiful friend KP's bday and I wish she didn't live in Virginia Beach. If you do live there, please find her and wish her a happy 25th!!

What are your thoughts?!

  1. I can not get Scott on the healthy kick with me, which I think is a disadvantage..... ugh!

  2. I love running. I haven't done much of it this summer, but it's a great way for me to get exercise and clear my head.

  3. That's awesome! Waking up early for anything does not make me happy, but I do feel so much better about myself when I work out first thing! Dom is a HUGE health and workout nut...so I'm trying desperately to keep up!

  6. whoot whoot way to go at running! hope you can keep it up. So I glanced over at your profile picture on here and was like hmm that dress looks very familiar! so I ventured over to your wedding tab and we have the same wedding dress. Mine is the ivory color but thanks for the tip on the altering because in December it is supposed to come and we were trying to decide if we were going to stick with Davids for the alterations but we might look into something else for that. Loving looking at all your posts from your wedding (:

  9. Good for you! I usually don't like running, only because I usually feel sick afterwards, but when I occasionally do, the morning (or after it rains) is my favorite time to! That's so awesome that you are eating healthy together! Brian and I have been trying a lot of new recipes lately. Some healthy, some not. Neither of us really diet / restrict what we eat, but we do try to balance it out.

  11. Ha we were just having this discussion at work where I said the only way I would run is if I was scared of something. Otherwise a nice brisk walk on the treadmill is all I can muster. I have been going to the gym at the same time and there is always this old guy who walks on the treadmill in his JEANS. Usually I go next to him because it makes me feel like i am walking faster. hee hee
