High School Memories… Oh. MY!

Monday morning, again?! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. I must say, having the Bengals beat the Browns yesterday definitely makes this morning a little easier. 1-1 sounds just fine to me!

I'm linking up with Becky today, and it's allllllll about high school. What have I gotten myself into?!

1. Tell us what kind of student you were in high school {popular, nerd, sport obsessed, choir, etc}
I like to think that I did a little bit of everything in high school and that I was pretty well-rounded. I was in marching band for 2 years, I was a cheerleader all 4 years. I was involved in student government (Class Prezzzz, what?!), the Spanish Club, I did volunteer work, I was even in the school musical my senior year... I really tried to do it all!

Yes, that's me on the far right. Try not to be TOO jealous!

2. Share with us some high school pictures. We know you have them somewhere.

80s theme night at a basketball game :)
Senior year cheerleading competition-- is that bow big or WHAT?!
3. Tell us about your school. Private? Public? How many in graduating class? Mascots? School colors?
I went to a public high school, the best one around ;) We graduated 193 members strong.
The mighty RAM was our mascot and we rocked the maroon and gold.
I seriously love my high school!
4. Tell us about some of your favorite memories of high school. Or what stands out the most? Any teachers? Specific classes?
I really loved high school.... it's hard to narrow down the favorite memories. Homecoming was always a great time every year. Building class floats, spirit weeks, decorating for the dance, the parade.... a couple years I marched in the parade with the band, the other years I cheered. Just all the festivities surrounding homecoming.

I had a lot of great teachers in high school. I had never liked history until I had a great teacher my 10th grade year. I got to take Drama I and II as a senior which were both a blast!

5. Tell us a piece of advice you would pass on to your children or any child entering high school.
I'd like to encourage them to give lots of sports, activities and clubs a chance!I can only hope they are willing to try as many different things as I did in high school. How do you know what you're going to like/dislike or be great at if you don't try them out?

Did you link up today?!
